Is your old laptop or desktop sitting around unused? Perfect. With the right software it becomes your own home server – for backups, a media library, a password manager, cloud storage or whatever else you want to self-host.

We guide you from choosing the hardware through installation to your first login – and explain what you can manage yourself afterwards.

Feel free to have a look in our shop as well. We regularly offer ready-built systems there. If you don’t find what you are looking for, just ask us for a custom solution.

What we do:

• Assessing whether the device is suitable
• Setting up the operating system (usually Linux)
• Setting up the services you want (e.g. Nextcloud, Vaultwarden, Jellyfin)
• Explaining the basics so you can carry on independently
